지리산 자락 따라 드라이브하다가
“이 근처 한우랑 돼지갈비가 그렇게 맛있다더라”는 말에
찾아간 곳이 바로 인월 한우정이야.
입구부터 고기 굽는 냄새가 솔솔 나는데,
배고팠던 우리 일행은 이미 마음이 녹아버렸지.
While driving along the foothills of Jirisan Mountain I heard, "I heard the Korean beef and pork ribs around here are so delicious," so we headed to Inwol Hanwoojeong. The aroma of grilling meat wafted from the entrance, and our hungry group was already melting.

먼저 주문한 건 삼겹살!
두툼하게 썰려 나온 생삼겹을 숯불 위에 올리니
지글지글 구워지는 소리부터 행복 그 자체였어.
겉은 노릇노릇, 속은 촉촉하게 익어서
쌈에 마늘, 쌈장 한 점 넣고 먹으니
입안 가득 고소한 육즙이 터졌지.
반찬도 정갈해서 ‘고기 맛을 더 살려주는 조연들’ 같았어.
We ordered samgyeopsal first! The thick slices of raw pork belly were placed over the charcoal grill, and the sizzling sound of it was bliss itself. The outside was golden brown, the inside was moist and cooked. With a ssam (wrap) of garlic and a dab of ssamjang (ssamjang), my mouth burst with savory meat juices. The side dishes were also exquisite, like supporting actors that enhanced the meat's flavor.

삼겹살로 입이 풀린 뒤엔 돼지갈비로 마무리!
양념이 촉촉하게 배어든 돼지갈비는
숯불 향이 입안에 퍼지면서 단짠의 조화가 정말 예술이었어.
밥 한 숟갈에 갈비 한 점, 그리고 마늘쫑 한입 —
이게 바로 여행지에서 느끼는 ‘소확행’이지 뭐야.
After relieving my craving for pork belly, I finished with pork ribs! The pork ribs, soaked in the rich seasoning, allowed the aroma of charcoal to linger in my mouth, creating a truly artistic harmony of sweet and salty flavors. A spoonful of rice, a piece of ribs, and a bite of garlic chives — this is the "small but certain happiness" you experience while traveling.
④ 정이 느껴지는 시골식 한 상 A hearty country-style meal
반찬이 정갈하게 나왔는데
직접 담근 김치, 나물, 겉절이가 다 맛있었어.
시골밥상처럼 하나하나 정성이 담긴 느낌이라
고기보다 반찬 먼저 리필하게 될 정도였지.
직원분들도 친절해서 더 기분 좋았고!
사실 알고보니 이곳 사장님이 어릴적 동네 아는 언니였어..대박.
The side dishes were presented neatly, and the homemade kimchi, namul, and geotjeori were all delicious. It felt like a country meal, with every bite carefully prepared, so much so that I ended up refilling the side dishes before the meat itself. The staff were also friendly, which made it even better! Actually, it turns out the owner of this place was a friend I knew from my childhood neighborhood... awesome.

인월 한우정은 남원 인월면 중심가 근처에 있어서
지리산 둘레길 걷거나, 인월시장 구경 후 들르기 좋아.
주차장도 넓어서 차 대기 편했고,
한우와 돼지갈비 둘 다 맛볼 수 있어 가족 단위 손님도 많았어.
Inwol Hanwoojeong is located near the center of Inwol-myeon, Namwon, making it a great stop after walking the Jirisan Trail or exploring Inwol Market. The parking lot was spacious, making parking convenient, and since you can enjoy both Hanwoo and pork ribs, many families came.

든든하게 한 끼 하고 나서
근처 지리산 허브밸리나 함양 개평한옥마을 쪽으로 드라이브하니
그야말로 ‘여행의 완성’이더라.
“고기 맛이 이렇게 기억에 남을 줄은 몰랐네”
라는 말이 절로 나오는 곳이었어.
고기먹고 바로 옆이 인월시장이라 식후 들어가 디저트로 도너츠도 먹었지.

After a hearty meal, we drove to nearby Jirisan Herb Valley or Hamyang Gaepyeong Hanok Village, which was the perfect "trip culmination." It was a place that made me say, "I never knew the meat would be this memorable." After eating meat, Inwol Market was right next door, so I went in and had some donuts for dessert. I was completely full.
