친구야, 나 얼마 전에 해남 솔라시도안에 새로 생긴 산이정원 다녀왔거든? 새로 생긴 곳이라서 아직 사람들한테 많이 알려지진 않았는데, 완전 제대로 만들어놨더라고. 너도 자연 좋아하잖아? 여긴 그냥 단순한 식물원이 아니고, 스토리가 있는 테마 정원이라 볼 것도 많고 사진 찍을 곳도 진짜 많았어. 참고로 산이정원의 뜻은 '산이 정원이 된다.'라는 뜻이래.
Hey, dude, I recently went to the newly opened Sani Garden in Haenam Solasido. It's a new place, so not many people know about it, but it's really well-made. You like nature, don't you? This isn't just a simple botanical garden, it's a theme garden with a story, so there's a lot to see and a lot of places to take pictures. By the way, the meaning of Sani Garden is 'the mountain becomes a garden.'
🎁 입장료랑 운영 시간은? What are the admission fees and operating hours?
●입장료는 주중 10,000원, 주말 12,000원이고,
어린이(36개월 이상~13세) 5,000원, 청소년 및 65세 이상 9,000원이야.
해남 군민, 장애인, 국가유공자는 6,000원으로 할인된다고 하더라고.
●Admission fees are 10,000 won on weekdays and 12,000 won on weekends, 5,000 won for children (36 months and older to 13 years old), and 9,000 won for teenagers and those over 65 years old. They say that Haenam residents, the disabled, and those with national merit get a discount of 6,000 won.
● 운영 시간은 계절마다 좀 다른데,
☀️ 3월~10월 (하계) : 09:00~18:00 (입장 마감 17:00)
❄️ 11월~2월 (동계) : 09:00~17:00 (입장 마감 16:00)
이라서 너무 늦게 가면 입장을 못 할 수도 있어.

산이정원은 어떤 곳이야? What kind of place is Sani Garden?
이곳이 단순히 꽃이나 나무만 있는 게 아니고, 정원 자체가 하나의 작품처럼 꾸며져 있어. 정원이 크게 '기억 존', '미래 존', '생명 존' 이렇게 세 개의 테마로 나뉘어 있는데, 각 공간마다 독특한 분위기가 있더라.
This place is not just filled with flowers and trees, but the garden itself is decorated like a work of art. The garden is largely divided into three themes: 'Memory Zone', 'Future Zone', and 'Life Zone', and each space has its own unique atmosphere.
✔ 기억 존 – 자연과 역사를 담은 공간
Memory Zone – A space filled with nature and history
여기는 예전에 이 지역이 바다였던 곳이라는 걸 모티브로 만들어진 곳이야. 신기하지? 오랜 세월 동안 바다가 육지가 되면서 생긴 변화들을 정원으로 표현해놨더라고. '맞이정원', '노리정원', '물이정원' 같은 공간들이 있는데, 특히 '물이정원'이 진짜 멋있었어. 물길이 흐르는 정원인데, 잔잔한 분위기가 너무 좋더라.
This place was created based on the fact that this area used to be the sea. Isn’t it amazing? The changes that occurred over the years as the sea became land were expressed in the garden. There are spaces such as ‘Maeji Garden’, ‘Nori Garden’, and ‘Water Garden’, but ‘Water Garden’ was especially cool. It’s a garden with a flowing water path, and the calm atmosphere was really nice.
✔ 미래 존 – 동화 같은 정원
Future Zone - Fairytale Garden
여기가 제일 감성 터지는 곳이야. '흐름원', '약속의 정원', '동화정원', '갤러리가든', '서약의 정원' 같은 다양한 테마가 있는데, 특히 '동화정원'이 너무 예뻤어! 정원 곳곳에 동화적인 요소가 가득해서 산책하면서 동화 속 주인공이 된 기분이랄까? 이영섭작가의 '어린왕자' 조형물도 있었는데, 그거 보면서 어릴 때 읽었던 동화책 생각도 나더라. 정원마다 분위기가 다 달라서 계속 걸으면서 사진 찍고 싶은 마음이 들었어.
This is the place where emotions explode the most. There are various themes such as 'Flow Circle', 'Promise Garden', 'Fairytale Garden', 'Gallery Garden', and 'Garden of Oath', but 'Fairytale Garden' was especially pretty! The garden was full of fairytale elements, so I felt like I was the main character in a fairytale while walking around. There was also a sculpture of 'The Little Prince' by artist Lee Young-seop, and looking at it reminded me of the fairytale books I read when I was young. The atmosphere of each garden was different, so I wanted to keep walking around and taking pictures.
✔ 생명 존 – 자연과 예술이 만나는 곳
Life Zone - Where Nature and Art Meet
이 공간은 자연과 생명의 소중함을 주제로 만들어졌어. 여기에는 '생명의 나무', '나비의 숲', '산이폭포', '소리의 정원', '거미의 숲' 같은 테마 정원들이 있는데, 특히 '나비의 숲'에는 숲속을 걸으면 나비들이 날아다니닐거래. 그러면 진짜.동화 속에 들어온 기분일거야. 그리고 한쪽에 유영호 작가님의 그리팅맨 이라는 조형물이 있는데, 그 어깨위에는 42명의 다양한 인물들이 다양성을 상징하며 세계 여러 나라에 설치된 유명한 작품이래. 여행하면서 이런 특별한 조형물 만나는 것도 재밌잖아?
This space was created with the theme of the preciousness of nature and life. There are themed gardens such as 'Tree of Life', 'Butterfly Forest', 'Sani Falls', 'Garden of Sound', and 'Spider Forest'. In particular, in 'Butterfly Forest', if you walk through the forest, butterflies will fly around. Then, it really feels like you've entered a fairy tale. And on one side, there is a sculpture called Greeting Man by artist Yoo Young-ho. On its shoulders are 42 different figures symbolizing diversity. It is a famous work installed in many countries around the world. Isn't it fun to come across such special sculptures while traveling?
🌄 산이정원 어떻게 가? How do I get to Sani Garden?
🚗 자가용 타고 가면 서울에서 한 5시간(376km) 정도 걸려.
🚄 기차(KTX) 타고 가려면 서울역 → 목포역(약 2시간 30분) 도착한 다음,
🚕 거기서 택시 타고 가면 30분 정도 걸려.
대중교통 이용하면 총 3시간 정도 걸리는 셈이지.
🚗 If you go by car, it takes about 5 hours (376km) from Seoul.
🚄 If you go by train (KTX), get off at Seoul Station → Mokpo Station (about 2 hours 30 minutes),
🚕 Then take a taxi from there, it takes about 30 minutes.
If you use public transportation, it takes about 3 hours in total.
♥️ 여기가 왜 좋았냐면! Why was this place so good?
일단 여기가 완전 감성 충만한 힐링 스팟이야. 단순히 꽃 구경하는 게 아니라 정원 자체가 하나의 이야기처럼 꾸며져 있어서, 계속 걷다 보면 나도 모르게 몰입하게 되더라고. 그리고 인생샷 찍기에도 완전 좋아. 포토존이 엄청 많아서 그냥 아무 데서 찍어도 작품처럼 나오더라니까?
First of all, this is a healing spot full of emotions. It’s not just a place to look at flowers, but the garden itself is decorated like a story, so if you keep walking, you’ll find yourself immersed in it without even realizing it. And it’s also great for taking life shots. There are so many photo zones that no matter where you take a picture, it’ll come out like a work of art, right?
그리고 가족 단위 방문객들도 많았는데, 아이들이 뛰어놀 수 있는 공간도 잘 마련돼 있어서 가족 여행지로도 딱 좋겠다는 생각이 들었어. 다음에 우리 같이 가보자! 거기서 사진도 왕창 찍고, 자연 속에서 힐링도 하고 오면 진짜 재밌을 것 같아.
