🌿 마이산휴게소에서 만난 겨울 풍경 Winter scenery at Maisan Rest Stop

 

친구야, 너 눈 오는 날 마이산을 본 적 있니? 나는 이번 겨울에 마이산을 가다 마이산휴게소에 들렸는데 완전 멋진 풍경을 봤어. 하얀 눈이 내린 2개의 마이산이 진짜 그림 같더라. 평소에도 멋진 곳인데, 눈 덮인 암마이봉, 숫마이봉을 보니까 완전 동화 속 한 장면 같았어.

 

Friend, have you ever seen Maisan on a snowy day? I stopped by Maisan Rest Stop while going to Maisan this winter and saw a really beautiful view. The two Maisans covered in white snow were really like a painting. It’s a beautiful place even on a regular basis, but seeing Ammai Peak and Sutmai Peak covered in snow made it look like a scene from a fairy tale.

 

 

 

 

❄️ 마이산휴게소 도착 – 눈 덮인 도로와 설경 Arriving at Maisan Rest Stop – Snowy Road and Snowy Scenery

 

가는 길이 좀 설레기도 했어. 진안 쪽으로 가는 도로에 눈이 쌓여서 차가 천천히 가긴 했지만, 그 덕분에 주변 풍경을 천천히 감상할 수 있었거든. 휴게소에 도착하니까 넓은 주차장도 하얗게 덮여 있었어. 다행히 관리가 잘 되어 있어서 차 대는 데 문제는 없었어. 뭔가 조용하고 평온한 느낌이 들더라고.

 

I was a little excited about the road. The road to Jinan was covered in snow, so the car was slow, but thanks to that, I was able to slowly enjoy the surrounding scenery. When I arrived at the rest stop, the large parking lot was also covered in white. Fortunately, it was well-managed, so I had no problem parking. It felt quiet and peaceful.

마이산휴게소 전망대에 올라가니까 암마이봉과 숫마이봉이 하얗게 변해 있었어. 평소에도 독특한 모습인데, 눈이 덮이니까 신비롭고 장엄한 분위기가 났어. 바람이 좀 불어서 춥긴 했지만, 그만큼 공기가 맑고 상쾌했어. 눈이 소복이 쌓인 나무들 사이로 마이산이 우뚝 서 있는 모습이 너무 멋졌어.

 

When I went up to the Maisan rest area observatory, Ammai-bong and Sutmaibong had turned white. It has a unique appearance even on normal days, but it had a mysterious and majestic atmosphere when covered with snow. It was a bit windy and cold, but the air was clear and refreshing. The sight of Maisan standing tall between the trees covered in snow was so beautiful.

눈 오는 날이라 그런지 관광객이 많지 않아서 조용하게 풍경을 감상할 수 있었어. 전망대에 마련된 포토존에서 사진을 찍었는데, 진짜 엽서 같은 장면이 나오더라. 눈 덮인 산이 배경이 되니까 인생샷 찍기에도 최고였어.

 

Maybe because it was snowing, there weren't many tourists, so I was able to quietly enjoy the scenery. I took pictures at the photo zone set up at the observatory, and it turned out to be a really postcard-like scene. The snow-covered mountains in the background were the best for taking a life shot.

춥긴 했지만 다행히 휴게소 안에 따뜻한 공간이 있어서 몸을 녹일 수 있었어. 카페에서 따뜻한 유자차 한 잔 마셨는데, 눈 내리는 풍경 보면서 마시니까 완전 힐링이더라. 매점에서는 군고구마도 팔고 있었는데, 역시 겨울엔 이런 간식이 최고지.

 

It was cold, but fortunately, there was a warm space inside the rest area, so I was able to warm up. I had a cup of warm yuzu tea at the cafe, and it was so healing because I was drinking it while looking at the snowy scenery. They were also selling sweet potatoes at the store, and these are the best snacks in winter.

그리고 여기 화장실도 되게 깨끗해서 좋았어. 겨울철 여행하다 보면 춥고 불편할 때가 많잖아? 근데 여긴 정리도 잘 돼 있고 따뜻한 실내 공간도 있어서 쾌적하게 쉬어갈 수 있었어.

 

And the bathroom here was also really clean, which was nice. When you travel in the winter, it’s often cold and uncomfortable, right? But this place was well-organized and had a warm indoor space, so I was able to rest comfortably.

솔직히 말해서, 겨울에 마이산 가면 다른 계절과는 또 다른 매력이 있어. 특히 마이산휴게소에서 바라보는 눈 덮인 마이산은 진짜 장관이야. 따뜻한 차 한 잔 마시면서 설경을 감상하는 그 순간이 너무 좋았어. 겨울 여행 가고 싶다면 마이산휴게소 한 번 들러보는 거 추천할게!
