🧩 영월관광센터의 역사 History of Yeongwol Tourism Center
이곳이 생긴 이유가 뭔지 알아? 원래 영월이 폐광 지역이었잖아. 광산이 문 닫고 나서 지역 경제가 힘들어졌는데, 영월을 관광 중심지로 살려보자는 취지로 만들어진 곳이야. 지역 주민들도 적극적으로 참여하고 있어서, 단순한 안내소가 아니라 지역 경제를 활성화하는 거점 역할도 하고 있지. 그래서인지 지역 특산물도 많이 팔고, 로컬푸드 식당도 있고, 체험 프로그램도 알차게 구성되어 있어.

여기가 진짜 맛집이야. 영월에서만 먹을 수 있는 특산물 요리도 많고, 건강한 로컬푸드도 가득해. 특히 감자전이랑 메밀국수가 맛있다니까? 이번에 우리는 연입밥을 먹었지. 장터 분위기 나는 로컬푸드 직매장에서는 신선한 농산물도 살 수 있어서 가족들한테 선물하기도 좋아.
This is a real restaurant. There are many local specialties that you can only eat in Yeongwol, and there are plenty of healthy local foods. I heard that the potato pancakes and buckwheat noodles are especially delicious? This time, we ate Yeonipbap. You can buy fresh agricultural products at the local food direct sales store with a market atmosphere, so it's great for giving as gifts to your family.

여기가 또 재밌어! 미디어 전시관에서는 영월의 역사와 자연환경을 첨단 기술로 보여줘서 아이들도 좋아할 만한 곳이야. 체험존에서는 VR 체험도 할 수 있고, 지역 문화를 배울 수 있는 체험 프로그램도 많아서 신기한 경험을 할 수 있어.
