친구야! 눈 내리는 겨울날, 전북 진안의 탑사를 다녀왔어. 탑사에는 몇 번 와봤지만, 이렇게 하얗게 덮인 설경 속의 탑사는 처음이라 너무 멋있더라. 마이산의 고즈넉한 풍경과 어우러진 돌탑들이 신비로운 분위기를 자아냈어. 사찰 주변은 조용하고 평온해서 마치 다른 세상에 온 듯한 기분이 들었어.

 

Hey, my friend! On a snowy winter day, I visited Tapsa Temple in Jinan, Jeollabuk-do. I’ve been to Tapsa Temple several times, but this was the first time I’ve seen Tapsa Temple covered in white snow, and it was so beautiful. The stone pagodas blended with the serene scenery of Maisan Mountain created a mystical atmosphere. The area around the temple was so quiet and peaceful that it felt like I was in another world.

 

 

 

탑사는 마이산 속 깊은 곳에 위치한 사찰로, 마치 자연과 하나가 된 듯한 신비로운 모습이 인상적이야. 가장 눈에 띄는 것은 돌탑들이었어. 이곳의 돌탑들은 자연적으로 쌓인 것이 아니라, 사람이 오랜 세월 동안 하나하나 손으로 올린 것들이라고 해. 신기하게도 강한 바람에도 무너지지 않고, 견고하게 자리를 지키고 있는 모습이 마치 신의 손길이 닿은 것처럼 보였어.

 

Tapsa Temple is a temple located deep inside Maisan Mountain, and the mysterious appearance that makes it seem as if it has become one with nature was impressive. The most striking thing were the stone pagodas. They say that the stone pagodas here were not built naturally, but were built one by one by hand over a long period of time. It was amazing that they didn’t collapse even in strong winds, and they stood firm, as if they had been touched by the hand of God.

 

 

 

특히 사찰을 둘러싼 설경이 너무 아름다웠어. 흰 눈이 소복이 쌓인 돌탑과 고즈넉한 사찰이 어우러지면서 한 폭의 그림 같은 풍경을 연출했지. 고요한 분위기 속에서 들려오는 풍경 소리와 바람 소리는 마음을 편안하게 해줬어. 눈이 내리는 동안 더욱 몽환적인 분위기가 연출되어서, 마치 동화 속에 들어온 기분이 들었어.

 

The snowy scenery surrounding the temple was especially beautiful. The stone pagodas covered in white snow and the serene temple combined to create a picturesque scene. The sounds of the wind chimes and the wind in the quiet atmosphere made my heart feel at ease. The atmosphere became even more dreamy when the snow fell, and I felt like I was in a fairy tale.

 

 

 

탑사로 올라가는 길도 정말 인상적이었어. 눈이 소복이 쌓인 길을 따라 천천히 걷다 보니 마이산 특유의 독특한 바위들과 탑영제의 아름다운 모습이 더욱 돋보였어. 차가운 공기 속에서도 설경을 감상하며 걷는 시간이 너무 좋았어.

 

The path up to the top temple was also really impressive. As I walked slowly along the path covered in snow, the unique rocks of Maisan and the beautiful appearance of Tapyeongje stood out even more. I really enjoyed walking while appreciating the snowy scenery even in the cold air.

 

 

 

탑영제는 사계절마다 다른 매력을 뽐내지만, 겨울철에 특히 운치 있는 모습이더라. 호수 위로 희미하게 퍼지는 안개와 주변의 바위산이 어우러져 신비로운 풍경을 연출했어.

 

Tapyeongje shows different charms in each season, but it looks especially charming in winter. The fog spreading faintly over the lake and the surrounding rocky mountains create a mystical landscape.

 

 

탑사에서 내려와 찾은 마이산 맛집, 초가정담

탑사를 둘러보고 내려오는 길에 점심을 먹으러 마이산 맛집 초가정담(☎063-432-4269)에 들렀어. 전통 한옥 스타일의 외관이 눈에 띄었고, 내부도 따뜻하고 정겨운 분위기라 추운 날씨에 더욱 아늑하게 느껴졌어.

 

On the way down after looking around Tapsa, I stopped by the Maisan restaurant Chogajeongdam (☎063-432-4269) for lunch. The traditional Hanok-tyle exterior caught my eye, and the interior was warm and cozy, making it feel even more cozy in the cold weather.

 

 

이곳에서 우리는 4인 더덕정식을 주문했어. 등갈비구이, 더덕구이, 도토리묵무침, 오리구이에 8가지나물을 넣은 비빔밥,그리고 된장찌개 등 건강하고 맛있는 한식 반찬들이 푸짐하게 나왔어.

 

Here, we ordered a 4-person deodeok set meal. Healthy and delicious Korean side dishes such as grilled back ribs, grilled deodeok, acorn jelly salad, grilled duck with eight kinds of vegetables, and doenjang jjigae were served in abundance.

 

 

 

특히 등갈비구이는 기름을 쪽 빼서 단백하고 식감이 좋았다. 그리고 더덕구이는 향이 진하고 쫄깃한 식감이 정말 일품이었어. 직접 담근 장으로 만든 된장찌개도 구수하고 깊은 맛이 나서 너무 맛있었어. 여기에 갓 지은 돌솥밥까지 곁들이니 든든한 한 끼가 완성되었지.

 

In particular, the grilled back ribs were lean and had a good texture because the fat was removed. And the grilled deodeok had a strong flavor and a chewy texture that was truly the best. The doenjang jjigae made with homemade soy sauce was also delicious with a savory and deep flavor. With freshly cooked stone pot rice, it was a hearty meal.
