로망스 리무진투어로 고창읍성을 한 바퀴 돌고 나서 말이야, 점심으로 ‘네오 한식전문점’에 들렀거든.
아니, 진짜 여긴 고창읍성 근처 맛집으로 소문난 이유가 있더라니까?
소고기버섯전골이 어찌나 진하고 따뜻한지, 여행 피로가 싹 풀리는 기분이었어.

🥢 A great restaurant near Gochang Eupseong Fortress, friend! This place is seriously delicious!
After touring Gochang Eupseong Fortress on the Romance Limousine Tour, we stopped by Neo Korean Restaurant for lunch. Seriously, there's a reason this place is famous for its delicious food near Gochang Eupseong Fortress. The beef and mushroom stew was so rich and hearty, it made all my travel fatigue melt away. If you ever come to Gochang, you absolutely must visit. I guarantee it! 😎
🍀 위치와 가는 길부터 편했어
‘네오 한식전문점’은 전북 고창군 고창읍 모양성로 135, 모양성마을 어울림센터 1층에 있어.
고창읍성에서 걸어서 3분이면 도착하니까 관광 후 바로 점심 먹기 딱 좋아.
주차장도 널찍해서 차 걱정 전혀 없고, 리무진투어팀도 편하게 들르더라.

Neo Korean Restaurant is located on the first floor of the Moyangseong Village Community Center at 135 Moyangseong-ro, Gochang-eup, Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do. It's a three-minute walk from Gochang Eupseong Fortress, making it the perfect place for lunch right after sightseeing. The parking lot is spacious, so you don't have to worry about traffic, and the Limousine Tour team stopped by easily.

식당 안은 정갈하고 따뜻한 느낌!
밝은 조명에 넓은 공간이라 가족 단위나 단체 손님도 많았어.
단체손님이었던 우리들은 연회장, 다목적실에서 점심을 먹었지.

The restaurant has a neat and warm atmosphere! The bright lighting and spacious interior made it a popular spot for families and groups. Being a group, we ate lunch in the banquet hall and multipurpose room.

이날 주문한 건 소고기버섯전골!
국물이 진하면서도 느끼하지 않고, 고소한 맛이 오래 남더라.
버섯이 종류별로 들어있어서 씹는 맛도 풍성했어.
특히 소고기는 야들야들~ 고기 좋아하는 너도 분명 마음에 들 거야.
뜨끈한 전골 국물 한 숟갈 먹자마자 “와 이거다” 싶었지.
솔직히 친구랑 둘이 한 냄비 비웠어 😂

We ordered the beef and mushroom hotpot that day! The broth was rich but not greasy, and the savory flavor lingered for a long time. The mushrooms were mixed in, giving it a rich, chewy texture. The beef was especially tender. Even meat lovers will definitely enjoy it. As soon as I took a spoonful of the piping hot hotpot broth, I thought, "Wow, this is it!" Honestly, my friend and I finished the entire pot 😂
🥢 반찬도 완전 정성가득
밑반찬도 그냥 나오는 게 아니야.
소시지부침, 오뎅볶음, 감자조림, 돼지껍질무침, 콩나물무침, 김치까지
하나하나 다 집밥 느낌나게 잘 되어있더라.
특히 돼지껍질무침은 식감이 쫄깃쫄깃하면서도 매콤하니 완전 별미였어.
이래서 여기가 진짜 고창읍성 맛집이구나 싶었지.

The side dishes weren't just any ordinary dish. Braised sausages, stir-fried fish cakes, braised potatoes, seasoned pork skin, seasoned bean sprouts, and even kimchi. Every single dish was perfectly prepared, giving it a home-cooked feel. The pork skin salad, in particular, was chewy and spicy, a true delicacy. That's why I knew this was a truly authentic Gochang-eupseong restaurant.
🏯 모양성의 의미도 알고 가자
참, ‘모양성’이 고창읍성의 옛 이름이라는 거 알았어?
‘모양(牟陽)’은 예전 고창의 지명으로, 해와 땅의 조화를 뜻한대.
식당 안에서는 성벽이 직접 보이진 않지만,
창밖으로 느껴지는 분위기만으로도 그 옛 정취가 전해졌어.

By the way, did you know that "Moyangseong" is the old name for Gochang-eupseong? "Moyang" (牟陽) is the old name for Gochang, and it means the harmony of sun and earth. While the fortress walls aren't directly visible from the restaurant, the atmosphere outside the window conveyed the old atmosphere.
🍚 여행 중 딱 필요한 한 끼였어
고창읍성 돌고 나서 전골 한 냄비 먹으니까 세상이 평화로워졌어.
든든하게 배 채우고 나니까 다시 관광할 힘이 나더라니까.
이래서 여행 중 한식 한 끼가 진짜 중요하다는 걸 또 느꼈지.
