나 지난달에 포천아트밸리근처에 있는 예술정원1999 자연예술테마파크에 다녀왔어.
이곳은 예술정원이라는데 거의 박물관수준으로 볼게 많았어.
그럼 깄다온 그곳 이야기를 해줄께.
Last month, I visited the Art Garden 1999 Nature Art Theme Park near Pocheon Art Valley. This is called the Art Garden, but there was so much to see that it was almost like a museum. So, let me tell you about the place I came back from.
🎨 1. 어떤 곳인가? What kind of place is it?
▪️ 경기도 포천에 위치한 민간 운영 복합 예술·체험 테마파크예요.
▪️ 자연과 예술이 어우러진 야외 조형물 전시장이 있고
실내 수족관, 광물·화석관, 선인장 식물원 등이 함께 있는 복합 전시장으로 조성했어요.
▪️ 날씨에 상관없이 실내외 구역이 고루 갖춰져 있어 가족 단위나 친구끼리, 연인 데이트에도 인기래.
▪️ It is a privately operated art and experience theme park located in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do.
▪️ It has an outdoor sculpture exhibition hall where nature and art come together, and it is a complex exhibition hall with an indoor aquarium, mineral and fossil museum, cactus plant garden, etc.
▪️ It is popular for families, friends, and couples on dates because it has both indoor and outdoor areas regardless of the weather.

✅ 자가용 Private car
▪️ 주소: 경기도 포천시 신북면 아트밸리로 184-1
▪️ 구리포천고속도로 이용 후 ‘포천IC’에서 약 15분.
▪️ 내비게이션에 “예술정원1999” 또는 “자연예술테마파크” 입력.
▪️ 주차 무료로 넉넉하게 공간이 마련돼 있어.
▪️ Address: 184-1 Art Valley-ro, Sinbuk-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do
▪️ Take the Guri Pocheon Expressway and drive about 15 minutes from ‘Pocheon IC’.
▪️ Enter “Art Garden 1999” or “Natural Art Theme Park” into your navigation.
▪️ Parking is free and there is ample space.
✅ 대중교통 Public transportation
▪️ 버스 환승이 필요해서 접근성이 조금 불편합니다.
▪️ 서울에서 출발 시:: 동서울터미널 → 포천터미널 → 택시 이동(약 15분).
▪️ Access is a bit inconvenient because you need to transfer to a bus.
▪️ From Seoul: Dong Seoul Terminal → Pocheon Terminal → Taxi (about 15 minutes).

🏛 5. 내부 구역과 볼거리 . Internal areas and things to see
볼거리 구역이 꽤 다양한데, 아래처럼 구분하면 편해요.
There are quite a few areas to see, but it's convenient to divide them as follows.
⚙️ ① 야외 예술정원(정크아트) Outdoor Art Garden (Junk Art)
▪️ 버려진 기계 부품, 철재 등을 활용한 대형 조형물 전시.
▪️ 기계장치, 동물, 추상 조형 등이 넓은 야외 공간에 배치돼 있어 산책하며 구경할 수 있어요.
▪️ Large sculptures using discarded machine parts, iron, etc.
▪️ Machinery, animals, and abstract sculptures are placed in a wide outdoor space, so you can take a walk and look around.
🌵 ② 선인장 식물원 Cactus Botanical Garden
▪️ 뇌 모양 선인장부터 희귀 다육식물까지 다양한 선인장 전시.
▪️ 온실에 조성돼 있어 겨울에도 따뜻하게 관람 가능.
▪️ Various cacti are exhibited, from brain-shaped cacti to rare succulents.
▪️ It's in a greenhouse, so you can watch it warmly even in winter.
🐠 ③ 1층 수족관 1st floor aquarium
▪️ 아마존에 사는 피라루쿠같은 대형어를 비롯해 귀여운 우파루파등 이국적인 어류 전시.
▪️ 대부분이 사람보다도 큰 커다란 어항에 살고 있는데 아이들이 매우 좋아했지.
▪️ Exhibits of exotic fish, including large fish like pirarucu that live in the Amazon and cute upa rupa.
▪️ Most of them live in large fish tanks that are larger than people, which the kids really liked.
💎 ④ 광물·화석·보석관 Mineral, Fossil, and Gem Hall
▪️ 450여 종 광물, 보석, 화석을 전시.
▪️ 큼직한 광석과 화석 표본이 박물관 느낌으로 진열돼 있어 관람 시간이 꽤 걸렸지.
▪️ 상아·호박관이 따로 구분돼 있어 상세 설명도 볼 수 있었어.
▪️ Exhibits approximately 450 types of minerals, gems, and fossils.
▪️ It took quite a while to see the large minerals and fossil specimens displayed in a museum-like manner.
▪️ The ivory and amber halls were separated, so I was able to see detailed explanations.
🪓 ⑤ 종유석 동굴 Stalactite Cave
▪️ 내부 동굴처럼 연출된 공간에 조명이 어우러져 은은하고 신비로운 분위기.
▪️ 실제 종유석과 유사하게 재현했으며, 체험존 느낌도 났어.
▪️ The space, which was designed like an internal cave, was decorated with lighting to create a soft and mysterious atmosphere.
▪️ It was recreated similarly to actual stalactites, and it also felt like an experience zone.
🦖 ⑥ 화석관 Fossil Hall
▪️ 커다란 티라노의 발톱부터 다양한 공룡과 어류, 조개류등의 화석들이 엄청나.
▪️ 아주 옛날 옛날 살던 동식물의 화석들을 직접 볼수있지.
▪️ There were a ton of fossils, from large Tyrannosaurus claws to various dinosaurs, fish, and shellfish.
▪️ You can see fossils of plants and animals that lived a long time ago.
☕ ⑦ 뮤지엄 카페 Museum Cafe
▪️ 관람 동선 마지막 쪽 1층에 카페가 마련돼 있어 간단한 음료, 아이스크림 등을 즐길 수 있어.
▪️ There is a cafe on the first floor at the end of the viewing route, so you can enjoy simple drinks, ice cream, etc.
📸 6. 관람 팁 Viewing Tips
▪️ 관람 소요 시간: 천천히 둘러보면 2시간~3시간 정도 소요.
▪️ 야외 전시는 햇볕이 강하니 여름엔 모자나 양산 챙기는 게 좋아요.
▪️ 내부 조명이 다소 어두운 구역이 있으니 어린이 동반 시 주의.
▪️ 실내 중심이라 비 오는 날도 편하게 관람 가능.
▪️ Time required to view: It takes about 2 to 3 hours if you look around slowly.
▪️ The outdoor exhibition is very sunny, so it's a good idea to bring a hat or parasol in the summer.
▪️ There are some areas where the interior lighting is a bit dark, so be careful when bringing children.
▪️ It's mostly indoors, so you can comfortably visit even on rainy days.
