이번에 정말 좋은 데 다녀왔어.
K관광섬으로 선정된 백령도, 그 중에서도 사곳해변이라는 곳에서
자전거를 탔는데, 그 순간이 아직도 잊혀지질 않아.
Hey, I went to a really great place this time. Baengnyeongdo, which was selected as a K-tourist island, and among them, I rode a bike at Sagot Beach, and I still can't forget that moment.

K관광섬은 문화체육관광부가 국내 섬 관광 활성화를 위해
선정한 특별한 섬들이야.
백령도는 그중에서도 단연 눈에 띄는 곳이야.
천연기념물인 콩돌해변, 사곶천연비행장 같은 독특한 지형,
그리고 평화와 안보의 의미가 공존하는 서해 최북단의 섬.
자연도, 역사도, 풍경도 모두 특별해서
‘단순한 섬 여행’을 넘어서는 감동이 있어.
K-tourist islands are special islands selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promote domestic island tourism. Baengnyeongdo is a place that stands out among them. Unique terrain such as Kongdol Beach, a natural monument, and Sagot Natural Airfield, and the northernmost island in the West Sea where the meaning of peace and security coexist. The nature, history, and scenery are all special, so it's more than just a 'simple island trip'.

백령도의 여러 해변 중에서도
사곳해변은 조용하고, 깔끔하고, 평탄한 길이 해변을 따라 이어져 있어서
자전거 타기 정말 좋은 곳이야.
한쪽엔 드넓은 서해, 다른 한쪽엔 조용한 해안도로.
사람도 많지 않아서 마치 나만을 위한 길을 달리는 것 같아.
Among the many beaches in Baengnyeongdo, Sagot Beach is quiet, clean, and has a flat road that runs along the beach, making it a really great place to ride a bike. On one side is the vast West Sea, and on the other side is a quiet coastal road. Since there aren't many people, it feels like I'm riding a road just for myself.
🚲 자전거 타면서 바다를 느끼다 Feel the ocean while riding a bike
아무 생각 없이 페달을 밟다 보면
파도 소리, 바람 소리, 바다 냄새가 온몸으로 스며들어.
특히 해 질 무렵, 붉게 물든 하늘 아래 달리는 그 순간은
진짜 영화 같은 장면이더라.
When you pedal without thinking, the sound of the waves, the sound of the wind, and the smell of the ocean permeate your whole body. Especially at sunset, when you ride under the red sky, it's like a movie scene.
📍 자전거는 어떻게? How about a bike?
나는 숙소 근처에서 대여했는데,
백령도에는 자전거 대여해주는 펜션이나 상점이 꽤 있어.
전기자전거도 있어서 체력 걱정 없이 여유롭게 즐길 수 있어.
우린 전지자전거를 탔지.
예약 전에 미리 문의하면 훨씬 편하게 준비할 수 있어!
I rented one near my accommodation, but there are quite a few pensions and stores in Baekryeong Island that rent out bikes. There are also electric bikes, so you can enjoy it leisurely without worrying about your stamina. We rode a battery bike. If you inquire in advance before making a reservation, you can prepare much more conveniently!

사곳해변은 포토스팟이 의외로 많아.
벤치도 있고, 자전거 세워두고 바다랑 같이 찍으면
누가 봐도 “와~ 여기 어디야?” 할 만큼 멋져.
특히 노을 타임에는 하늘이 온통 핑크빛으로 물들어서
그냥 셔터만 눌러도 인생샷 건질 수 있다고 해.📷
There are surprisingly many photo spots at Sagot Beach. There are benches, and if you park your bike and take a picture with the sea, anyone will say, "Wow~ Where is this?" It's so cool. Especially during sunset, the sky is completely dyed pink, so you can get the best shot just by pressing the shutter.📷

▪️ Wide-angle lenses are recommended for those who want to take pictures
▪️ Make sure to secure enough time to walk around (I like to take about an hour)
