보령 대천해수욕장 갔다가 바로 근처에 있는 죽도 상화원에도 다녀왔어.

📖 상화원은 어떤 곳? What kind of place is Sanghwawon?
상화원(霜花苑)은 죽도의 자연미를 살린 정원으로 유명한데 1990년대 후반 남포방조제가 완공되면서 육지가 되었지.
Sanghwawon (霜花苑) is famous for its garden that preserves the natural beauty of Jukdo, but it became land when the Nampo Breakwater was completed in the late 1990s.
원래 기업인의 별장으로 시작했지만, 지금은 일반인도 관람할 수 있는 아름다운 동양식 정원으로 개방되었어.
바다를 끼고 있는 죽도에 자리해 있어서, 정원 너머로 펼쳐지는 바다와 소나무의 조화가 정말 예술이야.
'눈 서리꽃이 피는 정원'이라는 이름답게, 사계절 풍경이 아름다워서 보령 사진 명소로도 유명하지
It originally started as a villa for a businessman, but now it is open to the public as a beautiful oriental garden. Since it is located on Jukdo, which is surrounded by the sea, the harmony of the sea and pine trees beyond the garden is truly a work of art. As the name 'Garden where snow frost flowers bloom' suggests, it is famous as a photo spot in Boryeong because the scenery is beautiful in all four seasons.

🚗 가는 방법 (교통 안내) How to get there (traffic information)
▪️ 주소: 충남 보령시 남포면 개화산로 337-66 (죽도 내)
▪️ 대중교통: 대천역에서 택시 약 20분 / 시내버스 이용 시 ‘개화예술공원’ 하차 후 도보 가능
▪️ 기차여행 연계: 나는 이번에 보령 기차여행 코스로 다녀와서, 셔틀버스로 상화원도 코스에 포함돼 있었어.
▪️ Address: 337-66 Gaehwasan-ro, Nampo-myeon, Boryeong-si, Chungcheongnam-do (inside Jukdo) ▪️ Public transportation: Approximately 20 minutes by taxi from Daecheon Station / Get off at ‘Gaehwa Art Park’ when taking the city bus and walk ▪️ Train travel connection: This time, I went on a Boryeong train tour, and Sanghwawon was also included in the shuttle bus tour.
🌿 참고: 상화원은 개인 자가용으로는 관람 진입 불가! 숙박시 가능. 주차장이 좁고 관광버스 진입불가.
🌿 Note: Sanghwawon cannot be visited by private vehicle! It is possible when staying at a hotel. The parking lot is narrow and tour buses cannot enter.
🎫 입장료 및 운영시간 Admission Fee and Operating Hours
▪️ 입장료: 1인 7,000원 (성인 기준), 5,000원(보령시민, 만 65세이상, 유공자, 장애인, 미취학아동, 단체30명 이상)
▪️ 운영시간: 4월~ 11월, 금,토,일요일 오전 9시 ~ 오후 6시 (입장은 5시까지)
▪️ 휴관일: 기상 상황에 따라 변동 가능하니 홈페이지 또는 현장 문의 권장
▪️ Admission Fee: 7,000 won per person (adults), 5,000 won (Boryeong citizens, 65 years of age or older, veterans, disabled people, preschool children, groups of 30 or more)
▪️ Operating Hours: April to November, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (entrance until 5:00 PM)
