가평에서 생신 식사 장소 고민하면 한 번쯤은 떠오르는 곳이 있잖아.
이번엔 어머니 생신이라 무조건 실패 없는 메뉴로 가자 해서 갈비명가 사계로 향했어.
결론부터 말하면, 선택 정말 잘했다.
When you're thinking about where to celebrate a birthday in Gapyeong, there's a place that always comes to mind. This time, it was my mother's birthday, so we decided to go with a guaranteed menu, and headed to Sagye, a famous restaurant specializing in galbi. To cut to the chase, it was a great choice.

생신 메뉴는 고민할 것도 없이 양념돼지갈비로 주문했어.
▪️양념이 달달·짭짤 밸런스가 잘 맞아서 부담 없이 먹기 좋고
▪️고기가 두툼해서 구울 때 육즙이 확 살아나고
▪️양념이 과하지 않아 어른들이 특히 좋아할 맛이더라
고기를 잘 안드시는 어머니가 한입 드시자마자
“아, 이 집 잘한다”
라고 바로 말하셨음. 이거면 됐지 뭐.

My mother, who doesn't usually eat meat, immediately exclaimed, "Wow, this place is great!" That was it.

▪️깔끔하게 준비되어 있어서 생신 자리 분위기 흐트러짐 전혀 없음

양념갈비 한 점, 상추 한 장이면 그냥 끝.
