야~ 나 이번에 밀양 갔다 왔거든? 거기서 “마당발"이라는 식당에 처음 가봤는데, 생각보다 너무 괜찮아서 너한테 꼭 알려주고 싶었어
Hey~ I went to Miryang recently? I went to a restaurant called “Madangbal” for the first time there, and it was so much better than I thought, so I really wanted to tell you about it.
1. 음식은? How about the food?
여기 산채비빔밥이랑 한정식이 유명하더라구.
반찬 가짓수도 꽤 많고 하나하나 정갈하게 나와.
나물류도 딱 봐도 산에서 캔 것 같은 신선한 느낌?
고추장 양념도 너무 세지 않고 깔끔했어.
밥은 솥밥이 나왔지. 주문하면 그대부터 밥을 하는거 같더라
그래서 갓지은 밥을 맛있게 먹을수 있었지.
사실 기대 안 하고 간 건데, 입맛 까다로운 내가 다 비웠으면 말 다 했지 뭐~ 😋
This place is famous for its mountain vegetable bibimbap and Korean set meal. There are quite a lot of side dishes, and they are all neatly presented. Even the vegetables look fresh, like they were picked in the mountains? The gochujang seasoning wasn’t too strong and was clean. The rice was served in a pot. It seemed like they would cook the rice first when you order it. So I was able to enjoy freshly cooked rice. Actually, I didn’t expect much, but if I, a picky eater, finished everything, that’s all I had to say~ 😋
2. 분위기는? How about the atmosphere?
가게 자체가 되게 전통스러우면서도 깔끔한 한옥 느낌이야.
너무 시끄럽지 않아서 가족끼리, 부모님 모시고 오기도 딱 좋겠더라.
주차장도 여유 있는 편이었고!
The restaurant itself is very traditional, but it feels like a clean hanok. It’s not too noisy, so it would be perfect for families or parents to come here. The parking lot was also spacious!
식당안이 완전 박물관같았어. 근대사 박물관같은 곳에서나 볼법한 다양한 생활도구, 악세사리등이 한편에 한가득.
나이 지긋하신 분들은 옛 추억이 날만한 물건들이 식당 여기저기 자리하고있어 찾아보는 재미가 듬뿍.
The inside of the restaurant was like a museum. A variety of living tools and accessories that you would only see at a modern history museum are all over the place. For the elderly, there are many things that will bring back old memories, so it's fun to look for them.
3. 위치랑 가는 방법 Location and how to get there
📍 주소는 밀양시 단장면 표충로 222이야
나는 네비에 '마당발 식당' 치니까 바로 나오더라.
밀양역이나 밀양 터미널에서도 차로 한 20분정도 걸려!
The address is 222 Pyochung-ro, Danjang-myeon, Miryang-si I typed 'Madangbal Restaurant' into the navigation and it came up right away. It takes about 20 minutes by car from Miryang Station or Miryang Terminal!
4. 근처 가볼 만한 곳 Places to visit nearby
먹고 소화시킬 겸 근처도 좀 돌아다녔는데:

▪️ 영남루: 야경 진짜 예뻐! 누각이 강 옆에 있어서 인생샷 건졌지~ 📸
▪️ Yeongnamnu: The night view is really pretty! The pavilion is next to the river, so I got a great shot~ 📸
▪️ 밀양 아리랑시장: 시장 구경하면서 간식거리 먹기 좋아!
▪️ Miryang Arirang Market: It's great to eat snacks while looking around the market!
▪️ 밀양강 산책길도 가까워서 걷기 좋았어. 강바람 솔솔~
▪️ The Miryang River Trail is also close by, so it was nice to walk. The river breeze was refreshing~
