친구야! 겨울이 되면 꼭 가봐야 하는 곳 중 하나가 바로 서울광장 스케이트장이야. 얼마 전 대낮에 다녀왔는데, 사람이 엄청 많더라고! 가족 단위 방문객은 물론이고 연인들, 친구들끼리 온 사람들도 많아서 분위기가 정말 활기찼어. 특히 아이들과 함께 온 부모님들이 많았는데, 아이들이 신나게 스케이트를 타는 모습이 보기 좋았어.

사람이 많아도 즐거운 스케이팅!

사람이 많다 보니 얼음 위에서 여기저기 넘어지는 사람들도 많았어. 처음에는 구경하면서 재미있었는데, 내가 넘어지는 건 싫더라. 다행히 안전요원들이 곳곳에 배치되어 있어서 사고가 나지 않도록 도와주고 있었어. 초보자도 쉽게 배울 수 있도록 난간을 붙잡고 연습할 수도 있고, 강습 프로그램도 있어서 배우고 싶은 사람들에게도 좋은 곳이야.
Because there were a lot of people, there were a lot of people falling here and there on the ice. At first, it was fun to watch, but I didn't want to fall myself. Fortunately, there were safety guards stationed everywhere to help prevent accidents. Even beginners can practice by holding on to the railings, and there are also lesson programs, so it's a good place for those who want to learn.
특히 야간에는 조명이 들어와서 분위기가 더 좋아지는데, 연인들이 많았던 이유가 이것 때문인 듯! 밤에는 빛나는 서울의 야경을 보면서 스케이트를 타면 정말 낭만적일 것 같아.나중에는 야간에 한번 꼭 와야겠어.
The atmosphere is even better at night when the lights come on, and I think that's why there were so many couples! It would be really romantic to skate while looking at the shining night view of Seoul. I definitely have to come at night sometime.

● 지하철 1호선 시청역 5번 출구로 나오면 바로 앞이야.
● 2호선 시청역 6번 출구로 나와도 금방 도착할 수 있어.
● 버스도 여러 노선이 있어서 서울 어디서든 쉽게 갈 수 있어.
If you exit from Exit 5 of City Hall Station on Subway Line 1, it's right in front of you.
