Hey, friend, I heard the fall foliage at Juwangsan was so beautiful, so I finally went. But do you know what the first thing they said when we arrived? "Did everyone come all the way from Seoul to come here...?" Before we even got to the parking lot, the traffic was already jam-packed, so we got off and walked a long way. I guess everyone felt the same way. But... it was worth it to push through the crowds. The fall foliage was at its peak.

📍 Course Description (Sangi Parking Lot → Daejeonsa Temple → Yongchu Falls → Yongyeon Falls → Jeolgu Falls)
● The autumn foliage exploded from the Sangi Parking Lot. Red, orange, and yellow burst simultaneously on both sides of the road, making it easy to exclaim, "Wow..." as you walk.
● Daejeonsa Temple — A Quiet Pause on Juwangsan Mountain The autumn foliage is breathtaking, but the moment you enter Daejeonsa Temple, the atmosphere changes completely. Even with the crowds, the tranquility of the temple itself remains intact. The view of Daeungjeon Hall through the maple trees was truly picturesque. If it were you, I'd have taken 200 photos!
● Daejeonsa Temple → Yongchu Falls This is where the real "sound of water + autumn foliage" begins. The path is flat, making for a pleasant walk. The vibrant autumn foliage along the valley is also vibrant. The beautiful rocky outcrops along the way made for a stop. Yongchu Falls is so famous that it was crowded, but the autumn foliage behind the waterfall was the highlight. it was beautiful, blending in with the small valley. But the waterfall was smaller than I expected. Hahaha.
● Yongchu Falls → Yongyeon Falls Personally, I liked this section better. There were fewer people, a tunnel of colorful autumn leaves along the waterway, a cool valley breeze, and many great photo spots. Yongyeon Falls has a long drop, so it feels different from Yongchu Falls. The autumn leaves felt closer and more enveloping, and I thought, "This is truly healing."
● Jeolgu Falls — A finale that's worth all the hard work Jeolgu Falls, which you encounter at the end of the trail, is a unique place where the water cascades between rocks, making it feel like the perfect ending. This place is definitely photogenic. The autumn leaves are vivid, making it the perfect spot for a memorable shot.

🍁 Autumn Foliage Conditions
✔️ It's at its peak as of early November. ✔️ The layers of red, orange, and yellow make for beautiful photos no matter where you take them. ✔️ This is seriously one of the top three autumn foliage I've seen this year.

👟 Difficulty & Atmosphere
✔️ Overall, beginner-intermediate difficulty. ✔️ There's a reason to go for people of all ages. ✔️ There were a lot of people, but the scenery was so beautiful that it didn't matter. I wasn't stressed.

💬 Bragging to a friend:
"Hey, you really have to go here." To be honest, I was surprised by the crowds, but the autumn foliage connecting the three waterfalls was so beautiful that I forgave it all. I sent you a photo, and you said, "If it's this good, I'll go too." Yes. It's the kind of scenery that will make you say that. If you're going on another fall foliage trip this year, Juwangsan is the place to go.
