겨울의 단양여행, 잔도길에서 만난 절경과 힐링! A winter trip to Danyang, a spectacular view and healing on the Jando Road!

 

친구야, 나 지난 겨울에 단양 잔도길 다녀왔잖아? 진짜 완전 최고였어! 너도 걷는 거 좋아하니까 완전 취향 저격일걸?

일단 가는 길도 꽤 편해. 나는 자가용 타고 갔는데, 서울에서 경부고속도로 타고 단양 IC로 나와서 한 30분 정도 달렸더니 도착했어. 근데 대중교통도 나쁘지 않더라? 서울에서 버스🚌 타면 2시간 반 정도 걸리고, 단양 도착하면 택시🚕 타고 금방 갈 수 있어.

Hey, my friend, I went to Danyang Jando-gil last winter, right? It was really great! Since you like walking too, it's probably perfect for you.

First of all, the way there is pretty easy. I went by car, and I got there after about 30 minutes from Seoul on the Gyeongbu Expressway to Danyang IC. But public transportation wasn't bad, right? It takes about 2 and a half hours to take a bus🚌 from Seoul, and once you get to Danyang, you can quickly take a taxi🚕.

 

 

 

근데 진짜 감동은 도착하고 나서였지. 겨울이라 엄청 추울 줄 알고 옷을 단단히 챙겨갔는데, 막상 가보니까 날씨가 꽤 포근하더라고! 햇빛도 따뜻하게 비추고, 걷기 딱 좋은 날씨였어.

 

But the real excitement came after we arrived. I thought it would be really cold because it was winter, so I packed warm clothes, but when I actually got there, the weather was pretty warm! The sunlight was warm, and it was the perfect weather for walking.

 

 

 

잔도길 자체가 엄청 멋있어. 절벽 따라 길이 이어지는데, 한쪽엔 나무들, 아래로는 강물이 흐르고 있어서 그냥 걷기만 해도 힐링되는 느낌? 📸 사진 찍을 포인트도 많아서 친구들이랑 막 셀카 찍고, 풍경 구경하고 완전 신났어. 길도 지루할 틈 없이 잘 만들어져 있어서 걷는 내내 재밌었고, 중간중간 쉬는 곳도 있어서 커피 한 잔 하면서 경치 감상하는 시간도 가질 수 있었어.

 

Jando-gil itself is really cool. The path follows a cliff, with green trees on one side and a river flowing below, so just walking feels healing? 📸 There are a lot of photo spots, so I had a lot of fun taking selfies with my friends and enjoying the scenery. The path was well-made so that there was no time to get bored, so it was fun to walk along, and there were places to rest in between, so I could have time to enjoy a cup of coffee and the scenery.

 

 

🧄 단양 잔도길을 걸은 후에는 주변의 다양한 명소도 함께 방문해볼 수 있었어.

After walking along Danyang Jando-gil, I was able to visit various nearby attractions.

 

1️⃣ 단양 만천하스카이워크 Danyang Mancheonha Skywalk

 

잔도길 끝 절벽위에 있는 거대한 새둥지같은 전망대인데 올라가면 단양시내를 한눈에 볼수 있고 모노레일, 짚라인, 알파인코스터등 다양한 액티비티를 즐길수 있지.

It is a huge bird's nest-like observatory on a cliff at the end of Jando-gil. If you go up, you can see Danyang city at a glance and enjoy various activities such as a monorail, zipline, and alpine coaster.

 

2️⃣ 단양 구경시장 Danyang Gyeong Market

지역 특산물을 구매할 수 있는 전통 시장으로, 다양한 먹거리를 즐길 수 있는 곳이야. 단양은 마늘로 유명한데 그에 관련된 다양한 음식들을 맛볼수 있지..

It is a traditional market where you can buy local specialties, and it is a place where you can enjoy various foods. Danyang is famous for garlic, so you can taste various foods related to it.

 

3️⃣ 단양팔경 Danyang Palgyeong

단양의 아름다운 경치를 감상할 수 있는 대표적인 명소로, 도담삼봉, 고수동굴과 사인암은 놓칠 수 없는 포인트입니다. 자연의 신비를 느낄 수 있는 곳이지.

It is a representative attraction where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Danyang, and Dodamsambong, Gosu Cave, and Sainam are must-see points. It is a place where you can feel the mystery of nature.

4️⃣ 온달동굴 Ondal Cave

신비로운 동굴 탐험을 즐길 수 있는 곳으로, 다양한 동굴 형성과 지질을 관찰할 수 있습니다. 가족 단위 방문객들에게도 인기가 많지.

A place where you can enjoy a mysterious cave exploration, and observe various cave formations and geology. It is also popular with families.

 

 

 

5️⃣ 온달관광지 Ondal Tourist Site

고구려시대 평강공주와 온달의 이야기를 담아 조성된 곳으로 가족 단위로 즐기기 좋은 곳으로, 다양한 놀이시설과 볼거리가 많아 아이들과 함께 가기 좋은 장소래.

A place created to tell the story of Princess Pyeonggang and Ondal from the Goguryeo period, it is a great place for families to enjoy, and there are many amusement facilities and things to see, so it is a great place to go with children.

 

 

 

솔직히 겨울에 갔는데도 이렇게 좋았으면, 다른 계절엔 또 얼마나 멋질까 싶더라고. 다음엔 봄이나 가을에 한 번 더 가보고 싶어. 너도 자연 좋아하면 꼭 한 번 가봐, 진짜 후회 안 할 거야!

Honestly, if it was this good in the winter, I wondered how great it would be in other seasons. I want to go again in the spring or fall next time. If you like nature, you should definitely go there once. You won't regret it!
