6월 8일, 전북 고창에서 열리는 대표 여름 축제인 고창라벤더축제 다녀왔어!
솔직히 말하면 그날은 라벤더가 아직 활짝 피기 전이라 조금 아쉬웠는데, 그래도 여기저기 피기 시작한 보랏빛이 은근히 기분 좋더라.
지금쯤은 아마 완전 만개해서 정원이 전부 보라 카펫처럼 되어 있을 것 같아!
고창가볼만한곳 찾는다면, 지금이 딱 청농원 갈 타이밍이야.
다음에 다시 간다면 진짜 이 시기(6월 중순쯤) 노려서 한 번 더 가고 싶을 정도야. 고향 마을 같은 풍경도 너무 마음 편하더라구.
On June 8th, I visited the Gochang Lavender Festival, a representative summer festival held in Gochang, Jeollabuk-do! To be honest, I was a little disappointed that the lavender wasn't in full bloom that day, but the purple that started to bloom here and there made me feel good. I think it's probably in full bloom by now, and the entire garden will be like a purple carpet! If you're looking for a place to visit in Gochang, now is the perfect time to go to Cheongnongwon. If I go again next time, I really want to go again during this time (around mid-June). The scenery that feels like my hometown village was so relaxing.
🌿 청농원은 어떤 곳이냐면 말이지~ What kind of place is Cheongnongwon?
여기 청농원은 고창에서 열리는 여름 대표 축제 장소야.
규모도 꽤 커! 라벤더만 심어놓은 정원이 거의 5~6천 평 되니까 걸어 다니면서 구경할 맛이 나지.
입구부터 라벤더 화분이 주르륵 반겨주고, 안쪽으로 들어가면 한옥이랑 연못, 숲길, 그리고 인생샷 찍기 좋은 포토존까지 쫙 펼쳐져 있어.
Here, Cheongnongwon is the representative summer festival site in Gochang. It's also quite large! The garden with only lavender is almost 5,000-6,000 pyeong, so it's fun to walk around and look around. Lavender pots greet you from the entrance, and once you go inside, there is a hanok, a pond, a forest path, and even a photo zone perfect for taking a great photo.
특히 나는 한옥카페 '술암제'*서 마신 라벤더 라떼가 아직도 기억에 남아. 향도 은은하고, 분위기도 너무 좋았어.
올해 라벤더축제는 5월 23일부터 6월 29일까지고, 입장료는 5천 원! 초등학생 이하는 공짜고, 작은 강아지(12kg 이하)랑도 입장 가능해서 가족 단위로 온 사람들도 많더라.
In particular, I still remember the lavender latte I had at the hanok cafe 'Sul-am-je'*. The scent was subtle, and the atmosphere was great. This year's lavender festival is from May 23 to June 29, and the admission fee is 5,000 won! It is free for elementary school students and younger, and small dogs (under 12 kg) are allowed, so many families come.

청농원은 그 유명한 고창 청보리밭 축제장(학원농장)이랑 차로 5분도 안 걸려.
그래서 봄에는 청보리밭 → 라벤더 → 고창읍성 코스로 다녀오면 딱 좋고, 지금처럼 초여름엔 라벤더 하나만 봐도 뿌듯해!
Cheongnongwon is less than 5 minutes by car from the famous Gochang Green Barley Field Festival (Hakwon Farm). So in spring, it's perfect to go on a course of green barley field → lavender → Gochang Eupseong, and in early summer like now, just seeing lavender alone is satisfying!

▪️ 해 질 무렵, 그러니까 5시쯤 가면 햇살+보라빛 조화가 진짜 예술이야
▪️ 인스타 감성 원한다면 흰 원피스, 밀짚모자 챙겨 가~ 사진 대박 나옴!
