보성 1박 2일 여행의 둘째 날 아침.
평소보다 일찍 눈이 떠져서, 조용한 보성향토시장으로 향했어요.
시장 골목을 둘러보다가 안쪽에서 발견한 ‘다향떡갈비’ – 보성답게 녹차떡갈비를 파는 곳이더라고요!

The second morning of the 2-day, 1-night trip to Boseong. I woke up earlier than usual and headed to the quiet Boseong Traditional Market. While looking around the alleys of the market, I found ‘Dahyang Tteokgalbi’ inside – it was a place that sold green tea tteokgalbi, as expected from Boseong!

아침부터 떡갈비라니… 싶지만, 은근히 담백하고 자극적이지 않아서 속이 편했어요.
무엇보다도 고기에 은은하게 배어 있는 녹차 향과 맛이 진짜 신기하고 맛있었어요!

I thought it was tteokgalbi for breakfast… but it was surprisingly light and not spicy, so it was easy on the stomach. Above all, the subtle green tea scent and flavor that permeated the meat was really amazing and delicious!

9시부터 영업이라 9시쯤갔는데 문을 안 열어 당황.

하지만 전화하니 급하게 나오셨는데 전날 토요일날 단체손님이 겁나 많아 늦게까지 장사하셨다고~

덕분에 아침에 맛있게 먹었고 사장님이 외국갔다오시면서 사온 귀한 커피도 대접받았지요.

우리만~

The business starts at 9, so I went around 9, but they didn't open the door, so I was surprised. However, when I called, they said they were in a hurry, but they said they had a lot of group customers the previous Saturday, so they were open late~ Thanks to them, I had a delicious breakfast, and I was also treated to a precious coffee that the owner bought while he was abroad. Just us~

식사 전후로 시장 구경도 빠질 수 없죠!
전날과는 또 다른 분위기.
이른 시간이라 시장은 한적하고, 주민분들이 정겹게 장을 보고 계셨어요.
생선, 나물, 묵, 갓김치… 정말 ‘보성다운 것들’이 가득한 공간이었읕텐데

일요일 아침은 아무래도 시장의 시작이 좀 늦는듯.

시장 바깥으로 나오니 조용한 작은 공원이 하나 보여서 산책 겸 들렀어요.
크진 않지만 나무가 많고, 벤치도 군데군데 있어서 앉아 쉬기 딱 좋았어요.
아침 공기가 상쾌해서 그런지, 10분만 걸어도 기분이 싹 맑아졌어요.

근데 참새가 참새가 거의 메뚜기떼만큼 많아 포장마차에서 파는 참새구이가 생각

The market was quiet because it was early, and the residents were shopping affectionately. 보성 녹차의 명성과 전통을 알리기 위해 1985년에 시작됐고,
벌써 30년 넘게 이어져 온 대표적인 5월의 녹차 축제예요.

보성읍에 위치한 ‘한국차문화공원’과 ‘보성차밭 일원’으로

녹차관련행사로는 상당히 큰행사이니 꼭 가봐!
